A Moveable Beast

On November 1, 2013, the Natural History Collections in Bergen closed their doors to the public due to the rebuilding and renovation of the venerable building from 1865. All animals and objects in the collection therefore had to be moved to temporary storage elsewhere in the city, to be kept for couple of years. A Moveable Beast is shot between Dec 2013 and May 2015, and is a documentation of how some of the animals fared during this moving house.

The new collection did open in the lovely restored museum in the fall of 2019.
